The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced that the rerun of the Walewale NPP primary has been declared null and void. This decision came after the ballot sorting process was disrupted, causing chaos and a breakdown of the voting process.
The rerun aimed to resolve an earlier dispute, but tensions escalated, leading to a new date for another round of voting. As a result, the Walewale constituency is currently without a candidate, creating pressure on the NPP to ensure a more orderly and transparent selection process.
