Npp Warns Against Attacking Manhyia, Chiefs

The New Patriotic Party, NPP, has banned the camping of delegates ahead of the Party’s primaries on Saturday, 27th January, 2024, in constituencies where the party has sitting MPs.  It has also cautioned its functionaries, members and sympathizers not to make derogatory comments at the traditional leadership in the Ashanti region particularly the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu, and the Manhyia Palace in relation to an alleged misunderstanding between some regional executives and chiefs. The NPP’s General Secretary, Mr. Justin Frimpong Kodua, said the National Executive of the party is working to ensure the differences are resolved in the interest of the party and the people of Ashanti
