The National Service Scheme (NSS) has issued a warning to individuals attempting to influence their service postings through illegal payments.
This announcement comes after the release of postings for 106,223 university graduates for the 2024-2025 service year.
Armstrong Essah, Director of Corporate Affairs at the NSS, stressed that paying or accepting money to alter postings is illegal.
Those involved in such activities will face legal consequences. The NSS, working in tandem with security agencies, is determined to monitor and prevent these unlawful practices.
Validation and registration at all regional centers across the country will begin on Thursday, September 12, and conclude on Monday, September 30, 2024, with the service set to start on October 1, 2024.
