The National Investigations Bureau (NIB) has released Kwaku Ohene Djan, a former Deputy Executive Director of the National Service Authority (NSA), after days in custody over his alleged involvement in financial irregularities at the institution.
Mr. Djan was detained as part of an ongoing probe into allegations of financial mismanagement and misconduct within the NSA, which has drawn public scrutiny in recent months. The investigation, which targets suspected fraudulent activities and systemic lapses, has implicated both past and current officials.
Sources indicate that while Mr. Djan has been released, he remains a person of interest and could be recalled for further questioning. His legal representatives have stated that he is fully cooperating with investigators.
