The Office of the President has confirmed that Nana Bediatuo Asante, Secretary to the President, is in stable condition following a recent illness.
In an official statement, the government clarified that Mr. Asante fell ill while conducting government business in the United States after the conclusion of the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). He was subsequently admitted to a hospital for treatment.
The Director of Communications at the Office of the President, Eugene Arhin, assured the public that Nana Bediatuo Asante is receiving excellent medical care and is responding positively to treatment.
“He is currently in stable condition and responding well to treatment,” Mr. Arhin stated.
The government expressed optimism about Nana Bediatuo Asante’s recovery and expressed hope for his swift return to full strength.
“According to the medical team, Nana Bediatuo Asante’s recovery is on track, and we remain hopeful for his swift return to full strength,” the statement added.
The government also thanked the public for their continued prayers and support for Nana Bediatuo Asante and his family during this challenging time.
