President-elect John Dramani Mahama has acknowledged Ghana’s severe economic challenges, pledging to work tirelessly to restore prosperity.
Speaking at a thanksgiving service at the Assemblies of God Church in Accra on Sunday, Mr. Mahama admitted the scale of the task ahead but expressed confidence in overcoming the crisis with divine guidance and wisdom.
“Our country is still in a very severe economic crisis, and it is going to take a lot of work to bring it back,” he stated, adding that he prays for discernment in selecting the right team to serve the nation effectively.
He reassured Ghanaians of his faith in God’s continued favour, promising that the country will not be forsaken.
