Mama Kekelifia Afeanyetornye I, known in private life as Afeanyetornye Wovenu became a queen mother of the ARS with her late father and founder of ARS, Mawu Fe Ame, (Man of God) Charles Korbla Nutornutsi Wovenu’s blessing on the 25th of December, 1990. It is her duty to ensure  peace in the society, including preventing and resolving any conflicts that may arise among ARS followers, while prioritising  harmony and economic empowerment among members.

Mama Kekelifia Afeanyetornye I, has been described by many as a transformational leader who has chalked up remarkable successes for the past 33 years. These achievements cut across socio economic, education, health, agriculture among others.

At the durbar to climax the anniversary, Mama Kekelifia Afenyetornye I, advised ARS members to pursue harmony as embodied by their late founder. She said members must proceed along the path of unity and peace with one another and that the true unity of the spirit does not come from compromise with the world but from devotion to God. She observed that no society can develop and progress if there is no unity among them. She added that there should be no room for hatred, infighting and indiscipline among members. She also asked members to exemplify the teachings and life of their founder.

The Spiritual Leader of ARS, Nunorlaga Nyeenyami Wovenu, lauded the Queen mother for empowering women and also for pushing for unity and peace among members. In a message to members of ARS, he asked them to resist temptation even though he acknowledged that temptation exists in very sphere of life.  He said yielding to temptation brings nothing but trouble and it is never worth the price one must pay for making temptation a norm.

In his remarks, the chairman for the event, Togbui Adzale VII of Lome, Togo gave thanks to the great leadership provided by the queen mother and prayed to God to continue to use her as a shining example and mentor for all.

The Apostles Revelation Society (ARS) is a Christian institution established by Almighty Jehovah through His own elect, MawuFe Ame (Man of God) Charles Korbla Nutornutsi Wovenu in fulfillment of prophesies. The Church believes in and is guided by the totality of the Holy Word as contained in the Bible – both old and new testaments. It was started on 2nd November, 1939.

The anniversary was climaxed with performances by selected choirs.
