The Ministry of Roads and Highways, through the Department of Urban Roads, will undertake maintenance work on the Accra-bound carriageway of the Kasoa Overpass beginning Monday, October 28, 2024, at 6 a.m.
The repairs, focused on damaged expansion joints crucial to the bridge’s structure, are expected to take ten days, with the lane set to reopen on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
During this period, Accra-bound traffic will be rerouted to the ground level beneath the overpass, while motorists are advised to consider the Kasoa-Nyanyano Bypass as an alternative route.
Traffic management plans will be in place, and road users are urged to follow these measures for a smoother transit.
The Ministry and Department of Urban Roads apologize for any inconvenience and assure the public that the project will be completed as scheduled.
