Vice President and NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has commissioned the Walewale Watermelon Processing Plant, a project initiated under the government’s One District, One Factory (1D1F) programme.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Bawumia noted that the factory, which he broke ground for in December 2019, will create at least 400 direct jobs and support thousands more through its value chain. He described the project as part of the NPP’s commitment to delivering on its promises to Ghanaians.
Dr. Bawumia further expressed optimism about continuing this legacy under his leadership, pledging innovative ideas and solutions should he win the December 7 elections.
