We have seen you this confident and boastful before- Richard Ahiagbah to NDC

The New Patriotic Party’s Director of Communications, Richard Ahiagbah says Ghanaians and the NPP have witnessed the NDC’s assurance level before.

Addressing the NDC, the NPP’s Communications Director said, “NDC should not get it twisted. We have seen you this confident and boastful before. Please note, Chairman Mosquito, where we have gotten to as people or a democracy, it is not simply a question of it is my turn or to propagate hardship. No no no…. Chairman.”

He affirmed that, “Bawumia is the next to lead with humility, capacity and the fear of God to unleash Ghana’s production potential to benefit all Ghanaians,” he said.

His reaction came after Mr Asiedu Nketsiah’s statement to the NPP during the NDC’s Accra news conference held on January 8, 2024, at the party’s headquarters. He stated; “They will fail because no power can defeat an organized and determined people struggling for their freedom. Truth is, Ghanaians have already abandoned the NPP and their followers. Therefore, the NPP ministers must begin preparing their handing over notes”

“Already, thousands of persons affiliated to the NPP have lost the District Level Elections. Yes, NPP people have miserably lost the Assembly and Unit Committee elections to members, supporters, and affiliates of the NDC,” he added.

However, Mr. Ahiagbah responded to him as he shared a comment on “X” stating the election is “about programs and policies and not subtle threats of violence and vain innuendos.”
He drew attention to the positive changes in the economy.

“It is possible. There are difficulties to do with the economy, and it is the same globally. But gradually, there is an improvement,” Mr. Richard Ahiagbah said.

Mr. Ahiagbah advised the NDC to rather prepare to retire, projecting their defeat in the 2024 elections.

“But regarding your suggestion to the NPP, respectfully Chairman, I think you should be the one preparing for retirement on 7th Dec 2024; because it will be your LAST DANCE, and it will end in defeat.”
