In a televised broadcast to the nation, the President, Nana Akufo-Addo extended his Christmas greetings to all.
In reference to a scripture in Isaiah,” For unto us, a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called wonderful counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father, Prince of Peace,” the president highlighted its importance to us as Christians and its impact, with how they bring “glad tidings of great joy to our hearts,” he said.
He further stated that, as the we celebrate Christmas play safe and extend a helping hand to the less privileged.
“Let each one of us contribute to helping feed those who are hungry and offering comfort to those in need. Let us take the time to gather, love, listen, and learn from each other, and to remember that with the help of God, we can overcome any challenge and achieve any future of which we can dream,” he added.
