At Ghana’s 67th Independence Day parade in Koforidua, President Akufo-Addo highlighted the significance of consensus on cherished values for every Ghanaian.
For the president, taking pride in being Ghanaian requires a collective agreement on the values that define the nation, urging the transmission of these values to every generation.
“If we are to take pride in being Ghanaian, there should be a consensus on the values we hold dear, and we should transmit them to every generation,” said the President, highlighting the imperative role that shared values play in fostering unity and national identity.
He stressed that this unity in values would be the cornerstone for a stronger, more resilient nation that respects its history while embracing progress.
