Former Deputy Attorney General, Dr. Dominic Ayine, has announced that NDC MPs will continue parliamentary work on Tuesday, October 22, even if NPP members boycott the house.
The NPP’s boycott follows Speaker Bagbin’s declaration of four parliamentary seats vacant, affecting three NPP MPs and one NDC MP. Ayine stated that the NDC, now claiming a majority, will move forward with key issues, including the repeal of the e-Levy.
He emphasized that the NDC is acting on behalf of the electorate and will proceed in the absence of the NPP.
