Manchester City have won the English Premier League four consecutive times under their manager Pep Guardiola after beating West Ham at home on the final day by 3-1.
Goals from Phil Foden and Rodri secured the title for City who finished two points ahead of Arsenal.
City started the match brightly and took the lead in the 2nd minute when Phil Foden produced an absolute screamer in the top right corner.
City doubled their lead in the 18th minute when Belgian international Jerome Doku set up a low cross to find Foden who made it two for the defending champions in the early minutes of the game.
The visitors pulled one back courtesy an overhead kick from Mohammed Kudus just on the strike of half time.
City’s victory is a testament to their quality and resilience. They have been the most consistent team in the Premier League all season, and deserve to be crowned champions.
Arsenal finished the season in second place, two points behind City. The Gunners were also impressive all season, but ultimately came up just short in the title race.
Liverpool finished third, while Aston Villa finished fourth.
Tottenham came in fifth position after beating Sheffield United 3-0 and booking a place in the Europa Leauge.
Chelsea finished Sixth, which means they will be playing in the Europa Conference League next season.
At the other end of the table, Luton, Burnley and Sheffield were relegated to the Championship.
Manchester City’s victory is a major achievement for the club. They have now won six out of the past seven Premier League titles.
