NDC flagbearer John Mahama has pledged to expand healthcare infrastructure in Ghana, starting with the construction of a 500-bed specialist children’s hospital and a fertility centre in Accra.
Mr. Mahama described the initiative as a vital step towards ensuring quality healthcare delivery nationwide.
The proposed children’s hospital will focus on providing specialized medical care for young patients, while the fertility centre is aimed at helping individuals and couples seeking support to start or grow their families.
Both facilities are set to address key gaps in the country’s healthcare system.
“This marks a new era in healthcare, where every individual, from the youngest to the oldest, can receive the care they deserve,” Mr. Mahama said, positioning the project as a cornerstone of his vision for improving healthcare services across the nation.
