President-elect John Dramani Mahama has announced the Transition Team tasked with overseeing the smooth transfer of power following the December 7, 2024, general elections. The appointments comply with the Presidential (Transition) Act, 2012 (Act 845).
The team, comprising seasoned professionals from finance, governance, and public administration, will collaborate with the outgoing government to ensure a seamless transition.
The members of the Transition Team are as follows:

- Fifi Fiavi Kwetey – Member
- Dr. Callistus Mahama – Member/Secretary
- Dr. Valerie Sawyer – Member
- Prof. Kwamena Ahwoi – Member
- Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson – Member
- Mahama Ayariga – Member
- Goosie Tanoh – Member
- Dr. Edward Omane Boamah – Member
Additionally, the President-elect has nominated Edward Doe Adjaho to the transitional Advisory Council.
This team is expected to work efficiently to uphold the principles of governance and ensure stability during the handover process.
