IMANI Africa President Franklin Cudjoe has criticised President John Mahama over the dismissal of former IGP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, describing it as lacking empathy.
Speaking on Citi TV’s The Big Issue on Saturday, March 15, Cudjoe said the official letter failed to acknowledge Dampare’s service or extend any goodwill message, calling it “cold” and unappreciative.
Comparing it to former Auditor-General Daniel Domelevo’s removal under Nana Akufo-Addo, he argued that at least an explanation was given in that instance. He urged the Mahama-led administration to handle leadership transitions with professionalism and respect.
