Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama, has promised to bring back the joy of farming and revolutionise the agricultural sector in his next administration.
He also assured that the next NDC administration will prioritise the welfare of farmers while working to ensure that they are well-resourced.
According to him, his administration will also create more opportunities for all farmers in the country.
In a post on his Facebook page, the former President wrote “Our farmers are the backbone of our economy, and we will continue to invest in their success” he noted.
“On this occasion, I want to assure our farmers that the next NDC government will prioritise their welfare and work tirelessly to ensure they have the necessary resources and support to thrive.”
