Hajia 4Reall, a Ghanaian socialite and musician has revealed that her ex-partner, Luvman Allison, is the key figure behind the $2 million romance scam that led to her legal troubles and subsequent sentencing.
Currently, Luvman Allison remains at large, with reports suggesting he is in Ghana. Known among peers as one of Shatta Wale’s sponsors, Allison has maintained a low profile and continues to evade capture.
Known offstage as Mona Faiz Montrage, Hajia 4Reall was recently sentenced to a one year and one day jail term in a U.S. prison for her role in the fraudulent scheme.
The scandal unfolded as she disclosed Allison’s involvement, identifying him as her baby’s father and the orchestrator of the scam.
Court proceedings revealed that Hajia 4Reall met Allison in 2015 in the United States, where she fell in love and was introduced to internet fraud by him. Manipulating her trust and affection, Allison, who has a history of fraudulent activities, leveraged their relationship to involve her in his schemes. He convinced her to allow funds to be deposited into her accounts, which she then transferred on his behalf due to alleged legal constraints on his own accounts.
Despite being on probation from a previous arrest by the U.S. government, Allison continued his deceptive practices, using Hajia 4Reall as a conduit for his illicit activities.
“I was deceived and manipulated by someone I trusted. I deeply regret my involvement and the pain it has caused,” Hajia 4Reall stated during her sentencing.
She further explained, “At a point in our relationship, he would ask me to allow him to receive some funds through my accounts and later ask me to withdraw it. Sometimes, he would ask me to transfer it to a business partner in Ghana on a few occasions.”
Despite knowing the wrongful nature of these activities, Hajia 4Reall admitted she continued to assist Allison out of fear for her safety and that of her daughter. She expressed deep regret, stating, “What I did was against the values that I came to America with and that I told myself I would live by.”
