The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has expressed deep concern over the deteriorating security situation in Lebanon and its potential impact on Ghanaians residing there.
In a press release issued on October 4, 2024, the government urged all Ghanaians to take immediate steps to leave the country.
Ghanaians in Lebanon are encouraged to take advantage of the limited available flights and return to Ghana without delay. For those without travel documents, the government has made provisions for Emergency Travel Certificates, which can be obtained by contacting the Embassy of Ghana in Cairo, Egypt, or the Ghana Honorary Consulate in Beirut.
The ministry also advised those requiring Exit Permits to reach out to the Embassy or Consulate for assistance.
