Tottenham Hotspur welcomes defending champions Manchester City to the Tottenham Stadium tonight in what will be the title decider of the English Premier League.
Tottenham were early pacesetters in the Premier League campaign, but a late-season slump cost them a place in the Champions League next season.
The draw at Villa Park on Monday still means both teams will have to wait until the final game.
However, Tottenham will be hoping to cause an upset to Pep Guardiola’s City as they try to win the title for four consecutive times.
A win for City will extend the side’s current 21-game unbeaten streak (W17, D4) in the league and keep Arsenal at bay.
Many would’ve written off Spurs before this past weekend as they were riding an awful four-game losing streak, but managed to get back to winning ways with a hard fought 2-1 win over Burnley.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are one point above City at the top of the table with 86 points. The Gunners host Everton in their final match of the season on Sunday while City play West Ham at home.
Should City win their final two games, they will secure an unprecedented fourth consecutive English top-flight title
