The Ministry of Education has officially announced the placement results for the 2024/25 academic year, allowing students to check their assignments to Senior High Schools (SHS) and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.
This release enables thousands of students to secure admission for the upcoming school term.
According to the Ministry, 553,155 out of the 563,339 results submitted by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) qualified for placement.
Among these, 80.93% of candidates were placed in one of their chosen schools. For students who were not assigned to any preferred institution, the Self-Placement platform is available for them to select schools with remaining vacancies.
Qualified students can check their placement status by visiting the official CSSPS websites at [cssps.gov.gh] or [cssps.org]. They should enter their index number followed by the completion year to view their assigned school.
To further assist the public, the Ministry has established a National Solution Centre at GNAT Hall in Adabraka, Accra, as well as 16 Regional Solution Centres across the country.
