The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced a planned emergency maintenance exercise on its MBH prepayment server. The maintenance will take place from Friday, September 20, 2024, at 11:00 p.m. until Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 11:00 p.m.
During this period, the MBH prepaid system will be temporarily unavailable, affecting customers in the Tema, Accra West, and Eastern regions.
ECG is urging affected customers to buy sufficient electricity credit before the maintenance starts to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
The company says the exercise is aimed at improving the efficiency and reliability of its services.
While ECG acknowledges that the maintenance may cause some inconvenience, it assures the public that the system will be restored as soon as the necessary updates are completed.
