Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), cast his vote in the Walewale constituency in northern Ghana during the December 7 general elections.
Arriving at the polling station, Dr. Bawumia was met with a warm reception from supporters and residents of the constituency.
Speaking to the media after casting his ballot, he expressed confidence in securing victory in the presidential race. Dr. Bawumia highlighted the NPP’s achievements and the trust he believes Ghanaians have in the party’s leadership.
“I am confident that the people of Ghana will choose to continue the transformation we have started,” he said. “Our track record speaks for itself, and I trust that Ghanaians will make the right decision for progress.”
He also called on all eligible voters to actively participate in the elections, emphasizing the importance of peaceful conduct and respect for democratic principles.
Dr. Bawumia lauded the professionalism of electoral officials and encouraged citizens to ensure that the electoral process remains smooth and transparent.
