Emphasizing the critical role of technology in enhancing judicial processes, she advocates for increased resources to provide learning, library, and operational support for judges and staff.

She also highlights the importance of engaging external stakeholders, such as surveyors and land registries, to ensure the integrity of justice delivery.

In a strategic framework titled “Leading Justice,” the Chief Justice outlines goals to improve ethics, assets management, due process, and digitalization within the judiciary.

She stresses the necessity of paralegal education for judicial service staff, including police investigators, prosecutors, and mediators, to ensure adherence to legal principles and procedural requirements. This initiative aims to minimize errors and enhance efficiency in court proceedings.

Furthermore, Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo announces plans to establish world-class centers of judicial and legal learning and provide resources to assist litigants. By investing in paralegal education and infrastructure, the judiciary aims to uphold the rule of law, reduce administrative discretion, and enhance access to justice for all citizens.
