The founder of Bus Stop Boys, Kodwo Safo, says teaching students about sanitation and its critical role in the country’s development should be of priority.
The organization is dedicated to creating cleaner and more welcoming environments for both residents and visitors.
In an interview with RGGNEWS, Kodwo Safo noted that the “Bus Stop Boys” have visited numerous schools in areas including Ada, Kasoa, and McCarthy.
For him, the major challenge has been the lack of adequate equipment and facilities, a common issue in most of the schools they visited.
He stressed the crucial role of teachers in instilling the importance of sanitation in young minds.
Moreover, he called on the government, teachers, and students to collectively promote better sanitation practices across the country.
Additionally, Kodwo Safo urged the general public to support these efforts by sponsoring schools to purchase equipment and build facilities, emphasizing that community involvement is essential regardless of the government’s role.
