Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate, was met with enthusiastic support from constituents in Berekum East, Sunyani East, and Sunyani West during his campaign tour of the Bono Region. His visit was marked by both sunshine and rain, reflecting the vibrant spirit of the local communities.
During his time in the region, Bawumia expressed his delight at the warm reception from community leaders and ordinary citizens.
Many were eager to share their excitement about the policies he promised to implement should he win the presidency. Among the key initiatives highlighted were accelerated road development, the establishment of District Agricultural Mechanization Centres, and free tertiary education for persons with disabilities (PWDs).
Bawumia also emphasized the importance of increasing solar power in Ghana’s energy mix, aiming for a sustainable and modern energy future for the nation. “Together, we will implement new ideas, bold solutions, and foster a mindset of possibilities,” he stated, urging supporters to join him in realizing this vision.
