Richard Ahiagbah, the Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), took to X to emphasize the significant accomplishments of the current government, urging Ghanaians to support the Bawumia-Napo ticket in the upcoming elections.
In his detailed post, Richard Ahiagbah argued that political achievements should not be assessed in isolation but rather through comparisons with historical benchmarks. He asserted that the unprecedented milestones achieved under the current administration should not be seen as diminishing the legacies of past leaders like Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
Mr. Ahiagbah listed several key accomplishments of the government, which include: Nationwide Free Senior High School (SHS) Policy, Provision of Ambulances, One District One Factory (1D1F), Agenda 111 (an ambitious projects to construct 101 district hospitals, seven regional hospitals, and three psychiatric hospitals), Creation of Six New Regions, Introduction of mobile money payment interoperability and other digital initiatives to position Ghana at the forefront of the Fourth Industrial Revolution among others.
“These accomplishments are genuinely unprecedented. According to records from the four republics, no other president or head of state has achieved similar feats,” Mr Ahiagbah stated. He urged Ghanaians to vote for the Bawumia-Napo ticket to continue driving positive developments for the nation.
The post has sparked discussions across social media, with supporters applauding the achievements while critics scrutinize the claims.
