Speaking on JoyNews’ Newsfile on October 12, 2024, he highlighted the severe environmental damage from toxic chemicals like mercury and cyanide, which have deeply polluted many water sources.
Dr. Boamah warned that this contamination poses significant health risks, threatening both human populations and wildlife due to exposure to these harmful substances.
