She believes her nomination demonstrates the flagbearer’s consistency and commitment to inclusivity and innovation and a strong belief in the capabilities of Ghanaian women.

Expressing her appreciation, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang thanked the NDC Council of Elders, the National Executive Committee, party members, friends, well-wishers, and all Ghanaians for their support and endorsement.

She emphasized her awareness of the national challenges and pledged absolute readiness and commitment to partnering with John Dramani Mahama to serve Ghana with integrity, dignity, truthfulness, hard work, and patriotism.

In her statement, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang highlighted her confidence in John Mahama’s ability to provide selfless, incorruptible, visionary, and inclusive leadership which she believes the country needs.

As Ghanaians anticipate the upcoming national exercise, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang urged the NDC to work hard to build the Ghana they aspire to see. “Let us make history!” she said.
