March has rolled in and Ghana has unfurled the itinerary of her celebrations. The month opens with the Pappoe Thompson Choral Festival, held in memory of the late Emmanuel Pappoe Thompson, a renowned music lyrics writer recognized for his contribution, including the lyrics of the national anthem. This musical tribute kicks off on March 1st, 2024.

March 6th holds special significance for Ghanaians as Independence Day is celebrated, commemorating the nation’s freedom from British colonial rule.
