The Ministry of the Interior has dismissed reports circulating on social media that certain individuals, including pastors, have been granted exemptions from security checks.
In a statement, the Ministry described the claims as baseless and entirely false, urging the public to disregard them. It emphasized that no directives or protocols allow any group or individual to bypass security measures.
Reaffirming its commitment to maintaining national security, the Ministry warned against using its name to spread false information or engage in activities that could compromise public safety.
The statement further urged the public to verify information from official sources before sharing, cautioning that misinformation undermines national security.
“The Ministry remains committed to transparency and will continue to provide accurate updates on its operations and policies,” it added.
