December has eternally held a special place in the memories of all who partake in the vibrant celebrations that define the Christmas season, the traditional Ghana way. What sets Christmas in Ghana apart is the numerous entertainment events that fill the calendar, making it an entire special feast to share with friends and family.
The Akwaaba Village started on the 15th of December 2023 and will end on 8th January 2024, happening at the Akwaaba at airport in Accra.
Promiseland comes off 24th December. This is an event organised by King Promise.
AfroFuture opens on the 28th and ends on 29th of December,2023. AfroFuture Ghana will take place at the Black Star Square and feature some of the music industry’s biggest names, including Davido.
Rock the Boat Ghana is an all-white attire boat cruise on 30th December, 2023. Participants are to grab their tickets to mingle with some of Ghana’s socialites off the coast.
Taste of Ghana is hosted annually by the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, Taste of Ghana offers the most authentic and distinctive facets of the Ghanaian way of life through food, cinema, fashion and art. The event will take place at the Forecourt of Statehouse in Accra on 23rd and 24th December.
Rapperholic, the annual program organized by one of Ghana’s prominent musicians Sarkodie is happening on the 25th of December 2023 and traditionally it has had the same day every year in December. It takes place at the Accra International Conference Centre.
Ghana’s Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy’s bhim concert is happening live at the Accra sports stadium on the 22nd of December,2023.
1000 n 10 laughs – Ghana’s comedy concert comes off on the 26th of December 2023 at Accra’s National Theatre.
