Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to eliminating “ghost names” from the public payroll.
During a campaign tour to Bawjiase in the Awutu Senya West Constituency, Dr. Bawumia stressed that the government is actively reviewing the payroll database to ensure that only legitimate employees receive payments.
He emphasized that the removal of “ghost names” is part of a broader effort to combat corruption and maintain a clean payroll system.
