Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has praised Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the ideal candidate to lead Ghana into the digital age.
In a video message delivered at the NPP Campaign launch at Takoradi, he highlighted Dr Bawumia’s deep understanding of politics and his lifelong dedication to the NPP tradition.
“I believe in the man of the moment – the whole world is talking about digitalization. Dr Bawumia is cut for the occasion; custom-made. He studied politics, and was born into politics, because of his loyalty to the tradition which is why the party gave him a chance to lead,” J. A. Kufuor stated in a video message.
The former President emphasized Dr Bawumia’s expertise in geopolitics and his ability to foster sound international relationships.
He lauded Mahamudu Bawumia as a visionary leader, capable of digitalizing the economy and implementing effective social policies. Describing him as a “man of destiny” and a “very insightful, humble person,” former president Kufuor expressed confidence in Dr Bawumia’s capacity to steer the nation towards progress.
He further urged Ghanaians to trust in Dr. Bawumia’s leadership and vision, expressing hope that the party’s manifesto would resonate with the populace.
