Commissioner of Police (COP) Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah has been reassigned to the Interior Ministry as a Technical Adviser to the Minister. This change comes just hours after the newly appointed Inspector-General of Police (IGP), COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno, named her as the Director-General of Research and Planning at the Ghana Police Service.
A letter from the Presidency directed her to collaborate with relevant authorities to ensure a smooth transition. The statement, signed by the Secretary to the President, Callistus Mahama, acknowledged her contributions to the nation and expressed confidence in her ability to excel in her new role.
COP Addo-Danquah previously served as the Executive Director of the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) and was also the Director-General of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
