The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the registration and match dates for the Preliminary Rounds of the CAF Inter Club Competitions for the 2024/25 season.
The registration period for the contests will commence on July 1, 2024 and span till July 20, 2024. Each team is required to register a maximum of 40 players and field 11 players in a match, with 9 players on the bench. During the match, 5 players can be substituted according to the new guidelines.
The initial stage of the first round of matches will take place on the weekends of August 16-18, 2024 and August 23-25, 2024.
However, the GFA will enrol the two eligible teams FC Samartex 1996 and Nsoatreman FC and their players in the CAF tournaments Management System, following the rules of both tournaments.
This will be history for both clubs since they will be appearing for the first in the tournament.
