To strengthen political ties ahead of the 2024 elections, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo visited the Northern Region. His tour aimed to showcase the achievements of his administration and rally support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate.
During his meeting with the Ya Na, the Overlord of Dagbon, Nana Akufo-Addo emphasized the significant progress made in infrastructure development across the region. From improved educational facilities to enhanced healthcare services and expanded road networks, the President outlined how these initiatives have created new opportunities for the people of Dagbon and beyond.
“I am deeply grateful to the Ya Na and the people of Dagbon for their unwavering support throughout my tenure,” the President remarked, urging the community to continue their backing for the NPP as it seeks to build on its successes.
The President also highlighted Dr. Bawumia’s exemplary leadership as Vice President, expressing confidence that his candidacy would ensure Ghana’s continued progress. “Under his stewardship, we can build a stronger and more resilient nation,” he stated, calling on all Ghanaians to rally behind Bawumia.
