In a significant gesture aimed at strengthening ties with traditional authorities, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh presented a bus to the Berekum Traditional Council on behalf of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. This event took place during a courtesy call with the council, fulfilling a pledge made by Dr. Bawumia during his campaign tour of the Bono Region.
Dr. Opoku Prempeh emphasized that this initiative is designed to enhance the mobility of the council members and support them in executing their essential duties. He highlighted that a future Bawumia administration would prioritize the welfare of traditional authorities, recognizing their vital role as partners in nation-building.
Additionally, Dr. Opoku Prempeh took the opportunity to advocate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), underscoring the party’s achievements in government and appealing for support as the election approaches.
