Ghana’s Black Princesses have made it through to the knockout stage of the 13th African Games after defeating Tanzania 2-1 in Cape Coast.
Tanzania took the lead in the 22nd minute despite Ghana’s dominance in the early minutes of the game.
Tracey Twum got the equalizer to level the score just on the stroke of half time.
Mukarama Abdulai scored the second goal to put Ghana ahead for the first time in the game on the 64th minute.
Ghana will take on Uganda in the final group stage game of the African Games at the Cape Coast Stadium on March 15, 2024.
