Dr. Kweku Agyeman-Budu, dean of the GIMPA Law School says the moot court competition initiated by Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo will serve as a platform for promoting the values of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration – GIMPA.
At the launch of the Moot court competition, Mr. Agyeman-Budu underscored some values of the school saying;
“At the GIMPA Law School, it is our steadfast commitment to foster academic excellence, promote legal scholarship and instill in our students a deep sense of ethical responsibility.
The Gertrude Torkonoo Moot Court Competition, he explained, serves as a manifestation of these values by providing students with a platform to refine their advocacy skills, engage in rigorous legal analysis, and cultivate professional integrity.
Recognising the presence of the Chief Justice he mentioned that Justice Gertrude Torkonoo has elevated the significance of the event, and serves as a beacon of inspiration for aspiring legal practitioners across the nation.
