The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced that the re-exhibition of the Provisional Voters Register (PVR) will begin on Tuesday, 15th October 2024, and will run until Saturday, 19th October 2024.
This exercise is aimed at allowing registered voters to verify their details and report any discrepancies for correction.
The EC emphasized its commitment to ensuring the accuracy of the voters’ list, following assurances made during a Special Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting earlier this month. The revised PVR will be available for online verification, enabling voters to confirm their registration details without charge.
From 15th October, voters can check their information via a short code, or by visiting the EC’s official website at [https://ec.gov.gh](https://ec.gov.gh). On the website, users can click on a pop-up link at the bottom-right corner of the screen, enter their 10-digit Voter ID number, and receive their voter registration details.
In case of any discrepancies, voters are required to report these issues to their respective District Offices for correction before the exercise ends on 19th October. After this date, voters will still be able to access their details online but will no longer be able to request corrections.
Political parties have also been urged to follow the EC’s template when submitting discrepancies identified during the re-exhibition period.
This online exercise is part of broader efforts by the EC to streamline the electoral process and enhance voter confidence.
