The National Service Authority (NSA) has deployed 13,700 trained teachers from accredited teacher training colleges to various educational institutions nationwide for the 2025/2026 national service period.
A statement from the NSA directed all deployed personnel to check their placements on the Authority’s website and print their appointment letters for endorsement by their assigned institutions. The service is set to commence on April 2, 2025, with regional validation processes running from March 26 to April 11 at all NSA regional centers.
The Authority reminded the public that, under the National Service Authority Act 2024 (Act 1119), all Ghanaians aged 18 and above who have completed accredited tertiary institutions are required to undertake national service.
The NSA reaffirmed its commitment to working with the Ghana Education Service, the Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools (CHASS), and private schools to address teaching shortfalls, particularly in rural areas.
