The Republic of Ghana and South Africa have officially entered into an Agreement on a 90-day visa waiver regime for holders of ordinary passports effective from November 1, 2023.
In a statement on Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Afairs and Regional Integration said “travellers on transit through, may depart from and stay in the territory of both countries for a cumulative period of up to ninety (90) days without recourse to work.”
This agreement signifies a remarkable step forward in fostering diplomatic relations and encouraging cross-border travel and business activities between Ghana and South Africa.
